The locality:
Banach Centre at Bedlewo is the conference venue of the Institute of Mathematics of Polish Academy of Sciences. It is located in the countryside (the nearest large town is Poznan) and has independent accommodation, catering and conference facilities. Think Oberwolfach without the mountains!
The conference itself starts on Monday the 27th at 9 am and finishes on Friday 1st July at 5 pm. Accomodation is available from Sunday 27th of June till Saturday 2nd of July and meals will be provided.
Travel:
There are direct flights to Poznan from many European airports and the city is served by trains from Warsaw and other Polish cities, also from Berlin. We will arrange for transport from Poznan Airport and from Poznan Railway Station, provided you let us know (by Sunday 12th of June) your place (airport or train station) and time of arrival. All participants are welcome to present a 30 mins talk -- as in Oberwolfach, this is a right, rather than an obligation. Depending on the number of volunteers, we might arrange parallel sessions, split along thematic lines.
